The Consumo Justo film: two years in under three minutes

Consumo Justo timeline · Pamplona, Dax and Riga · September 2024 – August 2026

Consumo Justo has a final film. In two minutes and forty-three seconds it looks back on two years of work on fair, ethical and local consumption: five partner countries, three training events and, in the words of the film, “about 100 youth workers and young people involved”. It was made for the partnership by the project coordinator, Maison de l’Europe des Landes WIPSEE.

Three events, one story

The film is told by the people who took part. One of them sums up the journey: Spain was about fair trade and hands-on activities, Dax about giving feedback and raising awareness, and Riga about the Sustainable Development Goals. We wrote about each of them: Pamplona, Dax and Riga.

Others talk about what stayed with them: friends across Europe, a group in which “everyone feels welcome”, and methods they want to use again. The Consumo Justo app gets its own moment. One youth worker calls it user-friendly, and another says there is “zero barrier” to using it. You can read more in our post about the app.

Captions in six languages

The film is in English. Captions are available in English, French, Spanish, Norwegian, Latvian and Polish. Use the CC button in the player to choose a language.

Only the start

The last sentence of the film says that the project “was only the start of the adventure”. For us this is practical: the app, the posters and the activities stay in use in our work with young people. Everything the partnership produced is listed in Two years of Consumo Justo: every result in one place.

The Consumo Justo app, with the posters, activities and resources described in these posts, is free on Google Play and the App Store.

Consumo Justo is an Erasmus+ cooperation partnership in the field of youth (project 2024-1-FR02-KA220-YOU-000248910). Five organisations run it together: Maison de l’Europe des Landes WIPSEE (France, coordinator), SETEM Navarra (Spain), Collective Innovation (Norway), Ecological Future Education (Latvia) and Mobile Adventure (Poland). All posts and results are on our Consumo Justo project page.
