Consumo Justo timeline · Warsaw, Poland · 4-5 June 2026
On 4 and 5 June 2026 the partners of Consumo Justo, an Erasmus+ project on fair, ethical and local consumption, came to Warsaw for their third and last meeting in person. The first partner meeting was held in Oslo in October 2024 and the second in France in November 2025. This time we were the hosts, and colleagues from all five partner organisations worked for two days at CIC Warsaw in Varso Place, a few minutes on foot from the central station.

Where the project stood
The first session was a review of what was finished and what was not.
The toolkit was done. The explanatory sheets and the 25 activity sheets were in the mobile app, and the partners approved the final version of the app guide together with its translations. Two of the three learning events had taken place, in Pamplona in May 2025 and in Dax in November 2025. The third, a five-day training in Riga, was ten days away. The project’s podcast episodes were recorded and ready to publish.
Four things were still open: the action plans written by young people, the report on what the learning events had taught us, the public events in each country, and the evaluation of the tools.
Two documents to write
Both of the open documents were ours to write, so we brought a proposal for each.
The first was the European Action Plan. Since 2025 a group of young people in every partner country had been preparing a local action plan. Our task was to bring the five plans together in one European document. We presented its structure, and the partners approved it with one addition: the plan should also address recommendations to the private sector, next to youth organisations, schools and public authorities.
The second was the capitalisation report, which collects what worked and what did not in Pamplona, Dax and Riga so that other youth organisations can reuse it. We presented the template and agreed to have a first version, covering the two seminars, ready before Riga. The feedback from Riga would be added afterwards.

Getting ready for Riga
On the second day Ecological Future Education, the Latvian partner, walked everyone through the Riga programme: one theme per day, a visit to a waste management site and time for participants to try the methods themselves. Every partner confirmed its group.
The meeting ended with a look back over two years of work: three meetings in person, many online ones, two seminars and a toolkit that is now in use.
What happened next
The calendar agreed in Warsaw was tight. The young people presented their five local plans to each other online on 11 June. The Riga training ran from 15 to 19 June. The first drafts of the European Action Plan and the capitalisation report followed in the summer.
For our team it was a pleasure to host colleagues we had so far met in Oslo, Pamplona and Dax, and to show them a little of Warsaw between sessions.
