Consumo Justo timeline · Google Play and App Store · November 2025 – July 2026
Everything the Consumo Justo partners wrote for youth workers ended up in one place: a free mobile app. It is the main result of this Erasmus+ project on fair, ethical and local consumption, and it is available now.

What is inside
The home screen has four sections.
- National resources. Campaigns, guides and tools from the five partner countries, with a filter by country.
- Educational resources. The five explanatory sheets on climate change and on local, ethical and fair consumption, with good practices from each country.
- Activity sheets. 25 activities for groups, which can be filtered by theme, duration, difficulty and number of participants.
- Map. Shops, producers, associations and other local initiatives shown as pins.
Anything can be bookmarked and found again under “Your selections”. Once content has been downloaded, it stays available without an internet connection, which helps in a youth club with weak wifi. The language can be changed from the home screen: English, French, Spanish, Latvian, Norwegian and Polish.

Built on what young people asked for
Before any screen was designed, a questionnaire asked young people what they wanted from an app like this. Ninety-four answered. A map of local producers and organisations came first, tutorials and practical advice next, and about half wanted simple menus with few options. The app follows those answers closely.
Young people also produced content. A youth group at SETEM Navarra in Spain made short videos on fast fashion, energy, and food and fair trade, and students of an agricultural high school in France filmed their own view of responsible consumption.
From first version to the stores
The app was built by an external studio, coordinated by Maison de l’Europe des Landes WIPSEE. A first version reached the partners in summer 2025. On 20 November 2025 it was presented at the project’s seminar in Dax, France, where youth workers from five countries downloaded it and used it for three days.

It was used again in June 2026 during the five-day training in Riga, and the final version has been on Google Play and the App Store since the end of July 2026. The app has also been recognised outside the partnership. In December 2025 Pamplona City Council gave SETEM Navarra its first Social Innovation Award in the sustainability and digitalisation category for its work on the app.
A guide for youth workers
The app comes with a 40-page guide written under the coordination of Collective Innovation, the Norwegian partner. It explains each section, the ideas behind fair, ethical and local consumption, and how to combine an explanatory sheet, a good practice and an activity into one session. The final version was approved at the partner meeting in Warsaw in June 2026. It exists in the same six languages as the app.

Try it
Download the app, choose your language and open the activity sheets. If you work with young people, there is very likely something there for your next meeting.
