Consumo Justo timeline · France, Latvia, Norway, Poland and Spain · September 2024 – August 2026
Consumo Justo ran from 1 September 2024 to 31 August 2026 with a simple aim: to help youth workers talk with young people about fair, ethical and local consumption, and to give them tools for it. Five organisations from France, Spain, Norway, Latvia and Poland worked on it for two years with support from the Erasmus+ programme. Mobile Adventure was one of them.
This post gathers everything the project produced, in the order it was made.
The toolkit
- Research report. What youth workers in five countries can already use, and what young people know about fair consumption. 28 pages, six languages.
- Five explanatory sheets. Posters on climate change and on local, ethical and fair consumption, in six languages.
- 25 activity sheets. Quizzes, debates, role play and workshops with step-by-step instructions. Five of them are ours.
- The mobile app. All of the above on a phone, with a map of local initiatives. Free, in six languages.
- The app guide. 40 pages on how to use the app in youth work.

Three learning events
- Pamplona, Spain, 22-24 May 2025. A seminar built around fair trade chocolate, local wool and the cooperatives of one neighbourhood.
- Dax, France, 20-22 November 2025. A seminar where the app was tested, methods were tried out and the best-rated activity was a Saturday market.
- Riga, Latvia, 15-19 June 2026. A five-day training in which participants ended up designing and running their own activities.
We took a group to each of them. Participants returned 63 evaluation forms, and what they said is summarised in the capitalisation report listed below.
Young people’s voice
Committees of young people in the five countries met online four times between April 2025 and June 2026 and wrote five local action plans. Our youth team proposed a Bring Your Own Cup Day in a university cafeteria. The five plans were combined into one European Action Plan, available in English and Polish:
Listen and watch
The project recorded a podcast of five episodes, one for each partner country, with people who took part in the project. The episodes are on the YouTube channel of Ecological Future Education, the Latvian partner. Start with the episode from Poland.
A film looks back at the whole project:
What we learned
The capitalisation report, which we wrote, explains which teaching methods worked at the three events and how other organisations can reuse them:
What comes next
The tools stay available after the project ends. We will keep using the activity sheets, the posters and the app in our own workshops and youth meetings. The youth team’s Bring Your Own Cup Day is ready for a first run with a university that wants to try it.
If you are a teacher, a youth worker or part of a student organisation and would like to use any of these materials, write to us. Everything listed here is free to use.
Thank you to our partners, Maison de l’Europe des Landes WIPSEE, SETEM Navarra, Collective Innovation and Ecological Future Education, and to everyone who took part.
