Project Overview

The PRO-SECURE project is a transformative initiative aimed at enhancing digital safety and cybersecurity knowledge among immigrant and refugee parents. Acknowledging the growing cyber risks faced by vulnerable populations, the project addresses the gap in digital literacy and online safety through an innovative problem-based learning approach.

The overall aim of PRO-SECURE is to empower immigrant and refugee parents to confidently navigate digital spaces, safeguard themselves and their children, and reduce vulnerabilities to cyber threats. The project also fosters social inclusion by creating a safer, more informed online environment.

The e-learning platform of PRO-SECURE is designed to empower immigrant and refugee parents to enhance their digital safety skills. With engaging scenarios, interactive tools, and multilingual features, the platform promotes accessibility and self-directed learning.

  • Scenario-Based Learning – Real-life scenarios addressing cyber threats such as phishing attacks, cyberbullying, and fraud, enabling participants to practice safe online behavior in realistic contexts.
