We are excited to introduce Consumo Justo, an Erasmus+ project aimed at empowering youth to embrace sustainable lifestyles. This innovative initiative focuses on promoting fair, ethical, and local consumption, equipping youth workers with the tools and knowledge they need to inspire impactful change.
The project is led by Maison de l’Europe des Landes (France): Specialists in sustainability education and community engagement in collaboration with :
• SETEM Navarra (Spain): Leaders in promoting fair trade and ethical awareness.
• Mobile Adventure (Poland): Innovators in gamified tools and youth-focused digital solutions.
• Collective Innovation AS (Norway): Experts in eco-tech and sustainable innovation.
• Ecological Future Education (Latvia): Advocates for green education and sustainable living.
Together, we’re blending digital innovation, education, and grassroots action to create a new generation of changemakers advocating for sustainability.
Why Does Fair Consumption Matter?
Here’s the thing: our current way of consuming isn’t working. Mass production, over-consumption, and waste are wrecking the planet and hurting people along the way. But there’s good news: young people like you care and want to make a change.
In fact, a survey of European youth found that:
• 80% want to act for ecological transition.
• 60% feel lost on how to start consuming more responsibly.
The Consumo Justo Project is here to fill that gap, offering tools and knowledge to help young people understand what fair, ethical, and local consumption really means—and how to make it part of everyday life.
The research we did for the project revealed some interesting trends:
1. Many young people want to live sustainably but lack access to clear, practical guidance.
2. By focusing on local, fair-trade, and ethical products, communities can build stronger economies and reduce environmental impact.
3. An app with resources, guides, and interactive tools could be a game-changer for learning and action.

What’s Next?
Consumo Justo isn’t just about theory—it’s about real-world impact. Here’s what’s in the works:
• A mobile app packed with practical tools and resources to make fair consumption simple and accessible.
• Seminars and workshops for youth workers, giving them the skills to teach and inspire young people to take action.
• An international exchange where young people will test these tools and share their experiences.
This isn’t just about being a better consumer—it’s about building a movement of young people who are informed, empowered, and ready to make change happen.
How You Can Get Involved
You don’t need to wait for the app or workshops to start making a difference. Start small:
• Buy local or second-hand.
• Educate yourself about ethical brands and fair trade.
• Share what you learn with friends and family.
Change starts with knowledge—and a little action goes a long way.
